- The CCI research team has a combined 30 years experience in research including 4 RNs that serve as study coordinators, a regulatory/investigational product coordinator, and a lab and registry coordinator.
- Clinical trials have improved childhood cancer survival from less than 10% to 80% survival.
- Clinical trials can allow access to therapies that are up and coming and not available otherwise.
- Developing new medicine takes at least 10 years on average to receive FDA approval.
- Clinical trials look at new ways to prevent, detect, or treat disease.
- Groundbreaking scientific advances in the present and the past were possible only because of participation of volunteers, both healthy and those diagnosed with an illness, in clinical research.
