Dr. Sri Bathini

Dr. Sri Bathini received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Spanish and Biology and stayed at VCU for medical school. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, followed by a Hematology and Oncology fellowship at O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama Birmingham College of Medicine. Dr. Bathini was heavily involved in research and medical education throughout her training and has numerous research publications and presentations in many areas of hematology and oncology. She is particularly passionate about medical education and training.

Dr. Bathini is very excited to make Huntsville home with her husband, Dr. Kashyap Bathini, a hospitalist at Huntsville Hospital, and their son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and exploring local restaurants and coffee shops. Dr. Bathini will see patients in our Huntsville-Russel Hill location.
